The Morton D. Barker collection of fine glass paperweights has a fine cross section of predominately French weights from the classic period (1845-1870). It has wonderful examples from all of the French makers, including several unique masterpieces. Subsequent to Mr. Barker's death the collection was donated, intact, to the Illinois State Museum where it is displayed. This nicely illustrated catalog documents this important collection.
